Thus, a resident of Vitebsk, living on Leningradskaya Street, complained that there has been no hot water in her apartment for two weeks, and the water from the tap is only lukewarm. As reported by the housing and maintenance department (ZHEU), the reason for this phenomenon is a malfunction in the boiler installed in the building; a technician is supposed to fix the problem. Another resident of the regional center, living on Smolenskaya Street, reported that a pipe had burst in the basement of her building, resulting in dirt and an unpleasant odor in the basement, which can be smelled in the apartments on the first floors. The leak has been temporarily sealed. However, there are currently no funds for replacing the pipes, the ZHEU responded. Another resident voiced a problem that concerns not only her personally but all residents of the district. Near the intersection of Budenny, Dimitrov, and Herzen streets, there is a park that used to have many benches for relaxation, but now there are very few, and they are not enough for everyone. A pensioner from Liozno District has contacted the Regional Executive Committee multiple times with questions regarding housing and communal services. This time, she pointed out that most of her requests through the 115 service remain unfulfilled, including the absence of water heaters in her apartment, despite the fact that the building has already undergone major repairs.
— Not a single inquiry will be left unaddressed; some can be resolved quite quickly, others require in-depth study, and yet others require the allocation of considerable funds, — noted Vladimir Petrovich. – For example, it is interesting where the benches in the park have disappeared to. Perhaps they were broken and removed. Now, new ones need to be installed. However, this could have been avoided if citizens treated what is created for them with more care.
Several calls received through the direct line indicated problems arising from the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A woman from Shumilino reported that due to the reduction in the number of routes from the district center, it is difficult to travel during lunchtime. The diesel train departs at 7:45 AM and 4:00 PM, although previously there was also a departure at 1:00 PM. There is a bus service, but the vehicle is full, and the driver does not take extra passengers.
— This issue will be forwarded for consideration by the relevant services, — commented Vladimir Petrovich.
A resident of Vitebsk inquired whether it is already possible to travel to other regions, for example, to the Mogilev region?
— There have been no prohibitions, — replied Vladimir Penin. — Just observe the precautionary measures during your trip.
As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, each of us must take care of ourselves, treat our health responsibly, and seek medical attention at the slightest sign of illness. Medical workers, in turn, strive to provide maximum assistance to everyone. The health of the nation is the foundation of the state's well-being.
An important problem was highlighted by a woman with Group I disability from the regional center.
— My son also has a disability. He became seriously ill. I called for medical assistance, but it turned out to be difficult to find people who could carry the sick person to the ambulance, — she said. — Previously, I turned to the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers for help, and although they are not supposed to, they used to come. But now they refuse because they do not have the appropriate protective equipment for contact with sick people. Soon I will need to pick up my son from the hospital, and I can't even imagine how to organize the process of transporting him directly to the apartment.
— This problem is indeed relevant, and not only for today, so a solution must be found, — noted Vladimir Penin.
Pensioners from Orsha reported that ten years ago, an acquaintance transferred a land plot to them, but they have not yet registered the documents for it with the Housing and Communal Services Bureau. Quite recently, a new chairman took over the gardening association, who issued a notice to the elderly people for illegally occupying the land.
The next call came from a resident of the village of Dvorishche, Rossony district. He complained that one of the dairy plants had been delaying payment for supplied products since March.
A total of 15 residents of the region called the "direct line".
