Prevention of offenses in the troops

Preventive and warning activities in military units supervised by the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office are constantly carried out by prosecutors from the Department for Supervision of Legality in the Troops.

Such activities were conducted in the 19th Separate Mechanized Brigade stationed in the Zaslonovo garrison. Senior prosecutor of the department, junior justice counselor A.A. Sukhorukov, together with the acting commander of the Northwestern Operational Command, Major General V.V. Gnilozub, addressed the officers of the unit.

The servicemen were informed about the state of legality and crime in the military units stationed in the Vitebsk region, and specific examples of unlawful conduct by servicemen and the measures of prosecutorial supervision taken against them were presented. In addition, those present were informed about the responsibility for committing crimes and offenses of a corruption nature.

Furthermore, A.A. Sukhorukov participated in a question-and-answer session held with conscripts, where he provided them with comprehensive answers to questions related to their military service, the organization of their daily life, and activities.

At the same event, he informed the servicemen about the measure of responsibility for committing non-statutory relations, as well as other military crimes of a violent nature.
