Production discipline: identified violations have been eliminated at the request of the prosecutor's office

The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of compliance with the legislation on the disposal and protection of property, as well as labor legislation, at a joint-stock company in Vitebsk engaged in the production of crude oils and fats.

Facts were established regarding the conclusion of agreements on terms that were knowingly unfavorable to the enterprise, the shipment of products in the presence of overdue debts for previously supplied goods, and the lack of proper organization of work to promptly respond to instances of payment delays.

Violations were also identified during inventory counts. Specifically, employees and materially responsible persons who were actually absent on the specified day were included in the list of individuals participating in the inventory. Inventory records were not signed in all cases.

The enterprise's HR department did not fully ensure compliance with legislative requirements when maintaining work record books and compiling employee personal files.

Facts were established where, when holding employees materially responsible, lost profits were recovered from them, rather than the actual damage caused to the enterprise.

Based on the results of the inspection, the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office submitted a representation to the director of the company. As a result of its consideration, 2 officials were disciplined. The identified violations have been rectified.
