The Sennensky District Prosecutor's Office reopened its doors after major repairs and modernization

The Sennensky District Prosecutor's Office has found a second wind, opening its doors on Wednesday after major repairs and modernization. The reconstructed facility has harmoniously blended into the central street of the district center, adorning its architectural appearance.

For two years, which is how long the repair and construction work lasted, offices in the local district executive committee were allocated for the prosecutor's office staff. The commissioning dates of the two-story facility were postponed due to a shortage of funds in the republican budget. In this situation, the regional executive committee provided financial assistance, allocating the 1.5 billion rubles needed to complete the reconstruction. Today, the prosecutor's office building, built 38 years ago, is unrecognizable both inside and out – with a well-maintained adjacent territory, a renovated interior, spacious offices, modern equipment, and comfortable furniture. A separate rest and dining room has been established here. In total, the new look cost 3.8 billion rubles. It is noteworthy that with the reconstruction of the Sennensky District Prosecutor's Office, the modernization of similar buildings in the Vitebsk region has been completed. Now, such work is actively underway in other regions of the country.

The improved facility was appreciated by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Konyuk, who took part in the grand opening ceremony. Congratulating the prosecutor's office staff on this significant event, Alexander Vladimirovich noted that the state, despite economic difficulties, provides constant assistance in creating the necessary conditions for the high-quality work of law enforcement agencies. In the opinion of the Prosecutor General, the opening of the renovated building is evidence of the attention of the country's leadership, as well as local authorities, to the needs and requirements of supervisory bodies. After all, sometimes specialists have to forget about regulated working hours – there are many situations that require urgent action.

The fact that the modernized building will significantly improve the working conditions and capabilities of the employees, on whose professionalism largely depends people's faith in the law and the formation of the legal culture of the population, was spoken about in his welcoming speech by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Belous.

It is noteworthy that the ceremonial opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Dubov, who headed the prosecutor's office of the Senno district for 10 years. Among the honored guests were employees of the regional prosecutor's office headed by Gennady Dysko, representatives of the local authorities, and construction organizations. Employees of the police, district departments of the Investigative Committee and emergency services, and the public also came to support the newcomers. The General Director of the production and construction commercial enterprise "Belimpex" Alexander Korzhaev handed over the symbolic key to the prosecutor of the Senno district Vladimir Rudenkov. The culmination of the celebration was the cutting of the red ribbon, after which an excursion through the renovated building was organized.
