The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office organized a seminar on compliance with legislation during the execution of enforcement documents.

The training event was attended by prosecutors from city and district prosecutor's offices, as well as representatives of the enforcement department of the main justice department, the main finance department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the tax inspectorate for the Vitebsk region, the information center of the Department of Internal Affairs, and the department of the Humanitarian Activities Department of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region.

The purpose of the seminar is to prevent errors in the law enforcement activities of the prosecutor's offices and enforcement bodies, and to develop a unified algorithm for interdepartmental interaction.

Opening the seminar, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, Georgy Korenko, outlined the main tasks of prosecutorial supervision over compliance with legislation during the execution of enforcement documents, and the typical violations of legislation revealed by prosecutors during inspections. He also drew attention to the existing problems of interaction between the supervisory authority and enforcement bodies in the regions.

During the event, problematic issues of interaction between financial, tax, and internal affairs bodies as creditors with enforcement bodies were discussed.

The specifics of executing enforcement documents concerning property seized, arrested, or converted into state revenue were considered separately.

The training seminar provided an opportunity to hear professional opinions, the reasoned position of each participant of the forum, to identify problems, to propose the most optimal solutions, and to build an algorithm for interaction between the prosecutor's offices and related departments in the field of legislation during the execution of enforcement documents.
