The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office invites you to participate in the international youth competition of social anti-corruption advertising

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 13 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption of October 31, 2003, each State Party, including the Republic of Belarus, shall take measures to promote the active involvement of individuals and groups in the prevention of and the fight against corruption. The aim is to deepen society's understanding of the existence, causes, and dangerous nature of corruption, as well as the threats it poses.

In order to organize constructive international cooperation, create an atmosphere of intolerance towards corruption, and take joint effective measures to combat this negative social phenomenon, Belarus, along with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, actively participates in the activities of the Intergovernmental Council for Combating Corruption, a sectoral cooperation body of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The members of the Council have decided to hold the International Youth Competition of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising "Together Against Corruption!", which is open to participants from any country.

The organizer of the international competition is the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, and the co-organizers are the Prosecutor General's Offices of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, and the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Contestants aged 14 to 35 are invited to submit social anti-corruption advertising in the following categories:

·                    "Best Poster"; 

·                    "Best Video Clip". 

The works of the participants are expected to showcase modern mechanisms for combating corruption at all levels and in various spheres of society and the state, as well as the role and significance of international cooperation in this matter.

Submission of works is organized on the official websiteмеждународного конкурса www.anticorruption.life until 18:00 (Moscow time) on October 1, 2023. The rules for its conduct are also posted there.

After that, by October 20, 2023, the National Competition Commission of the Republic of Belarus will determine the winners (1st place) and prize-winners (2nd and 3rd places) in each nomination and send their works to participate in the competition final. The 10 best posters and 10 best video clips will also be transferred to the competition organizers for placement on the official competition website and for use in preparing various exhibitions (expositions) of the competition works.

The competition final will be held in October – November 2023, during which the International Competition Jury will determine the winners and prize-winners in each nomination.

The award ceremony is planned to be held in Moscow and timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9, 2023).
