The prosecutor's office conducted inspections of water supply and sewerage enterprises
The inspection established that the enterprises' activities revealed violations of labor legislation, labor protection legislation, requirements of Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 3 of June 14, 2007 "On priority directions of strengthening the state's economic security", legislation on property preservation, anti-corruption legislation, and legislation on citizens' and legal entities' appeals.
There were cases of failure to take timely measures to recover accounts receivable by Novopolotskvodokanal, Orshavodokanal.
Cases of failure to hold guilty persons materially liable for damages caused were identified (Vitebskvodokanal, Orshavodokanal).
Facts were established regarding the use by Vitebskobvodokanal of a vehicle leased under an agreement with Vitebskvodokanal, without actual necessity for delivering documents and postal correspondence over significant distances: Minsk, Grodno region, Gomel region, Minsk region.
Vitebskobvodokanal had violations in the procedure for inventorying assets and liabilities, inventory, precious metals, and precious stones.
Various violations of labor legislation were identified at the enterprises regarding the granting of annual leave to employees, the timing of salary and business trip expense payments, and violations of labor protection legislation.
A number of violations and shortcomings were identified in the organization of work by Vitebskvodokanal on considering citizens' and legal entities' appeals, including cases of formal consideration of citizens' appeals.
Based on the results of the inspections, the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region submitted a submission to the head of the housing and communal services department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee to eliminate the identified violations of legislation, the causes and conditions contributing to them, based on the results
the consideration of which 21 employees of enterprises were brought to disciplinary responsibility.
