The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a series of training events on the issue of maintaining public prosecution

The Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region has launched a series of training events on the issues of maintaining state prosecution.

To ensure the effectiveness of the training forums, the classes are divided on a territorial-zonal principle: Glubokoye, Polotsk, Orsha, Vitebsk.

The starting point was the Glubokoye region. The first of the subsequent four thematic seminars was held at the district prosecutor's office, attended by employees of the regional prosecutor's office, and the prosecutor's offices of Braslav, Miory, Sharkovshchina, Postavy, Dokshytsy, and Ushachy districts.

Within the framework of the training event, issues of the state of supervision over the legality of court decisions in criminal cases were considered, and tasks to improve its effectiveness were identified.

The attention of the seminar participants was also drawn to the problems of maintaining state prosecution, the results of the analysis of errors and shortcomings made.

The organizers of the training forum are convinced that theory without practice is dead. In addition to discussions, speeches by state prosecutors, predominantly young specialists, were heard. Participants also solved practical tasks and prepared the operative part of the appeal protest.

Afterwards, problematic issues arising in practice were discussed, and the most optimal ways to resolve them were proposed.
