The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of compliance with anti-corruption legislation in the trade sector

The Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime, during an analysis of the implementation of anti-corruption legislation in the region's trade sector, identified violations committed by OJSC "Vitebsk Khoztorg", OJSC "Vitebsk Cold Storage Plant", OJSC "Bakaleya Vitebsk", and OJSC "Vitrembyt" in the course of procurement using their own funds.

In connection with the identified violations, the First Deputy Prosecutor of the region issued directives to the heads of OJSC "Vitebsk Khoztorg" and OJSC "Bakaleya Vitebsk" with demands for the immediate elimination of violations of the legislation on combating corruption and on the procurement of goods (works, services), and protests were filed against the provisions of local regulatory legal acts of OJSC "Vitebsk Cold Storage Plant" and OJSC "Vitrembyt" that contradict the requirements of the legislation.

The demands of the regional prosecutor's office have been fully satisfied.
