Prosecutor's office employees of the regional prosecutor's office are not only passionate about sports themselves, but they also successfully instill a healthy lifestyle attitude in their children.

At the initiative of the parent committee of the HC "Vitebsk-2004" team, an international ice hockey tournament for boys born in 2004 was organized and held at the Vitebsk Ice Palace by the Children and Youth Sports School.

Teams from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and Latvia competed on the ice arena.

The first place was taken by the team from Latvia, the second place by the team from Gomel, and the honorary bronze medal was won by the players of the "Shtorm" team from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. In addition, the best players of the tournament were recognized. Thus, based on the results of the match, Nikita Merguryev was recognized as the best player. The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded cups and medals.

The guests of our northern region highly appreciated the organization of this sports event, and therefore, a similar tournament is planned to be held in the second half of the year.
