Prosecutors and investigators of the Vitebsk region discussed issues of combating human trafficking, including that of minors

A meeting of the multidisciplinary group for combating human trafficking was held at the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region.

During the meeting, prosecutors, investigators, and representatives of public organizations of the region discussed the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies and other prevention entities in preventing crimes and offenses against individuals, including in the domestic sphere.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of preventing crimes against minors, as well as identifying children in extreme life situations who have become victims of crimes, cruelty, and violence.

Following the event, an additional action algorithm was developed aimed at preventing crimes of this category.
