Prosecutors of the Vitebsk region held a charity event for homeless animals

Every third Saturday of August, as is well known, marks the World Day for Stray Animals, which was established in 1992 on the initiative of the International Animal Rights Society.

Acting Prosecutor of Vitebsk, P.L. Domashevsky, in anticipation of this holiday, organized the continuation of the city prosecutor's office staff's participation in a voluntary charitable event to provide assistance to the stray animal shelter, which operates on the basis of the State Enterprise "Spetsavtobaza of Vitebsk". To support the animals, a visit to the shelter was organized, and assistance was provided. The director of the shelter, N.M. Zubova, was thanked for her persistent, meticulous, and difficult work, and the city prosecutor's office staff also congratulated N.M. Zubova on the Birthday of the organization she heads, which turns 7 years old this year.

By the way, this year, a number of employees of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office also joined this event.

The purpose of holding such events is to remind people of the need to participate in the fate of stray animals, as well as to foster a caring and responsible attitude towards our smaller brethren, compassion, and kindness, since the problem of irresponsible human attitudes towards animals does not lose its relevance, and the number of stray animals does not decrease.
