A round table was held on the issues of developing a unified Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Belarus

At the Educational Institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov," the Economic Court of the Vitebsk Region organized and held a round table on the development of a unified Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Belarus. Judges of the economic court and courts of general jurisdiction, as well as university professors, notaries, lawyers, and employees of the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office participated in it: Head of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with the Law of Judicial Decisions in Civil Cases Titkova I.N., Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement and Legality of Legal Acts Kudryavtsev D.N.

The participants of the round table exchanged views on the structure of the code, jurisdiction, the possibility of applying alternative methods for resolving civil and economic disputes, and ensuring access to justice. The specifics of reviewing judicial decisions in cassation, appeal, and supervisory proceedings in civil and economic cases were discussed, taking into account the experience and legislation of other countries.
