Advertising of pornographic materials using the global computer network Internet is a criminal offense

In this context, the advertising of pornographic materials in law enforcement practice is understood as making them available for public viewing or communicating information about them to an indefinite number of persons by any means (including by entering relevant data about such materials on websites of the Internet network accessible to any user).

Saving images and videos of pornographic content on their pages by users of social networks ("VKontakte", "Odnoklassniki", etc.) is regarded as their advertising and is a criminal offense. Upon discovery of such materials by law enforcement officials, a criminal case will be initiated.
