Vitebsk gymnasium students set a republican record in the results of the centralized exam in the Russian language

10.06.2026

A republican record in the results of the centralized exam in the Russian language was set by students of gymnasium No. 2 in Vitebsk under the guidance of teacher Elena Moiseeva: 17 of her students received the maximum 100-point result, 7 people scored 98 points, and 10 people scored 96 points. Meanwhile, the average score for the centralized exam in the Russian language in the country is 66.

Elena Moiseeva, a teacher of Russian language and literature and an excellent educator of the Republic of Belarus, has been working at gymnasium No. 2 since 1998, and her total pedagogical experience is over 30 years. She is a proponent of classical education, not only imparting knowledge but also developing the child's soul, which is why excerpts from the works of great composers are often heard in her lessons. Before the exam, students themselves ask Elena Konstantinovna to play Mozart's Sonata in D major K. 448 – neurobiological research has confirmed that it has a striking effect on the human brain.

– The brain works better with classical music, – Elena Moiseeva is convinced. – And to get used to such music from a young age, when completely different rhythms are in vogue, you can play it very quietly, barely audibly, as a light background. Your own brain will thank you for it in the future.

Elena Moiseeva practices reciting poetry by heart by an electric fireplace; such a stylized corner exists in her classroom. "My uncle of the most honest rules...", "I remember a wonderful moment...", reciting these and other stanzas, the children gladly come to the lit fireplace; it is much more interesting than standing at the board.
