A Russian citizen violated the entry ban to the territory of the Republic of Belarus

During the criminal proceedings, it was established that in February 2017, having been banned from entering the territory of the Republic of Belarus for a period of two years, and having been officially warned about criminal liability under Part 2 of Article 371 and Article 371, clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, Fyodor (name changed by the author), while on the diesel train "Rudnya – Vitebsk – Passazhirsky," entered the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Perhaps due to being slightly intoxicated, he did not realize the full seriousness of his actions. Or perhaps the "call of love" was stronger than common sense.

However, upon arriving in Vitebsk, Fyodor intended to go to his cohabitant to help her, which, as it later turned out, was why he had come (she needed help chopping firewood). But the path of his destiny lay elsewhere. Before going to his cohabitant, he decided to stop at a roadside cafe (possibly for another dose of "something strong"). But fate played a cruel trick on him, and he was subsequently detained by police officers.

By the verdict of the court of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk, Fyodor was convicted under Article 371, clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus to 1 year of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.
