On this day, we honor those who revive national culture, preserve our heritage, and create spiritual traditions of the Dvina region – museum, library, theater, and cultural center employees, as well as creative collectives.

The development of culture and the preservation of national heritage are priority areas of state policy, contributing to the realization of each person's creative potential.

Annually, about 100,000 public events are held in the Vitebsk region, including 12 international, 4 republican, and over 30 regional festivals, celebrations, and contests.
