On April 2, we celebrate the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.

The holiday reminds us of the strength of our historical ties, the unity of goals, and the commonality of our future. This day symbolizes the special friendship between our peoples, based on mutual respect, trust, and support.

Thirty years ago, in accordance with the will of our fraternal peoples, the treaty on the formation of the community of Belarus and Russia was signed, which marked the beginning of the unique integration project of the Union State. In the context of the modern world, our union remains a powerful factor of stability, security, and economic development of the regions. Together, we are solving tasks that require a unified approach and coordinated efforts — from the implementation of large infrastructure projects to the support of regional initiatives on the ground.

Vitebsk region will continue to actively develop multifaceted economic ties, exchange experiences, and conduct cultural dialogue.
