We sincerely congratulate you on the great and sacred holiday for everyone – Victory Day!

The memory of the heroic past of our people lives in the hearts of millions. This is a vivid example of cohesion and patriotism, unity and an unshakeable spirit, which helped to withstand the most difficult years of the war.

The Dvina region sent thousands of its sons and daughters to the front. Here, the enemy encountered unprecedented partisan resistance. The life of every third resident of the region was sacrificed for the sake of Victory. More than one hundred and twenty fellow countrymen were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, their names are immortalized in the names of streets and schools.

We bow low and express immense gratitude to all who brought closer the victorious May with their heroism, who defended independence and freedom at the cost of their lives.

Our duty is to preserve the truth about the Great Patriotic War, about the legendary feat of the Soviet people, to strengthen the country's defense capability and state sovereignty. And most importantly – to preserve and pass on a peaceful and prosperous Belarus to our children and grandchildren!
