The most expensive object. A petroleum products warehouse located on the outskirts of Chashniki has a new owner

Built in 1989, the oil depot was used until 2025 for storing oil products by the state enterprise "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnefteprodukt". Its territory, accessible by railway sidings, spans over 8 hectares. It houses 13 buildings. Oil products were stored in 20 tanks with a total volume exceeding 5,000 cubic meters.

The oil depot was put up for auction three times since February with a phased price reduction. Ultimately, the property was purchased at an 80% discount by a private organization from the Brest region, which is involved in wood product manufacturing.

This property became the most expensive one sold by the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee this year. In total, since the beginning of 2026, the committee has conducted 43 successful auctions, which have replenished the state budget by 1.3 million rubles.

Incidentally, 74 auctions for the sale of unused state property are scheduled for May. For the convenience of participants, all properties are offered for sale through an electronic trading platform on the internet (Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange).

Based on the results of the first quarter, the Vitebsk region ranked first among the country's regions in terms of the number of properties put into economic circulation.
