Lucky number 17. In Vitebsk, women who became mothers on National Unity Day were congratulated

The Day of National Unity became not only a holiday for some young families of the Vitebsk region, but also a lucky date – on September 17, 17 girls and 14 boys were born in the healthcare facilities of our region.

Members of the public association "Belarusian Women's Union" came to congratulate the mothers on this important event in their lives at the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 1. Here, on the day of the state holiday, 7 babies were born – 5 girls and 2 boys.

“It has become a good tradition to congratulate mothers on the birth of children on such days,” noted Marina Novitskaya, chairperson of the regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union. “All these women have acquired the wonderful status of mothers for the first time, they have felt the taste of motherhood. And we really hope and believe that they will come to the maternity hospital more than once to experience happiness that is incomparable. For a child to be happy, you need to hug them at least seven times a day. Hug your children, kiss them and tell them that they are your most, most beloved ones!”

The Belarusian Women's Union pays special attention to supporting motherhood on holidays and weekdays, emphasized Marina Novitskaya. Children make a family complete and strong. Being there, especially if a woman finds herself in a difficult life situation, providing psychological support, among other things, is the life credo of the members of the public organization.

Gifts from the Belarusian Women's Union were received on this day by Karina Medvedeva from Senno, Marina Garanina from Glubokoye, Yulia Polyakova, Elizaveta Bortnikova, Polina Lapotentova, Ekaterina Bukhanova, Elena Krivoshey from Vitebsk. The women admitted that they came here for happiness, and thanks to the professionals of the maternity hospital, they are now holding the most precious gift – a child.
