During the appointment of Alexander Moshkaryov as director of the agricultural enterprise "Breeding Plant "Reconstructor" of the Tolochin district, the chairman of the regional executive committee drew the attention of those present to the inadmissibility of mismanagement and sluggishness in conducting agricultural business. Another issue raised by Nikolai Nikolaevich Sherstnev concerned the work of the engineering service in the farms. Often, the engineer's functions are reduced to providing the equipment with spare parts, meaning the engineer has turned into a procurer. This is too narrow a view of professional duties. Today, specialists in the countryside must be able to independently control the adjustments of many seeding units and know the subtleties and secrets of technical workshops. Then there will be an effect.

Alexey Natalkin has been heading the agricultural enterprise "Borkovichi" of the Verkhnedvinsk district for five years. The chairman of the regional executive committee inquired about what had been achieved during this period and, having studied the production and economic indicators of the enterprise, concluded that the farm had stagnated in its development and was an outsider in the district. There are many examples when, in five years, a leader has turned an enterprise into a leader, which cannot be said about this case. As a result, a decision was made to extend Alexey Natalkin's contract for only one year instead of the proposed three years. Within a year, the manager must justify the trust and prove that "Borkovichi" is an effective farm.

The branch "Vesna-energo" of the electric power enterprise has a new director«Vitebskenergo» – Sergey Fomin. The enterprise plans to revise the structure of sown areas, prioritizing grain and leguminous crops. The young director's attention was drawn to the state of affairs in animal husbandry, and increasing the average daily weight gain of livestock.

The former director of KUSHP "Drozdі Agro" of the Beshenkovichi district, Alexey Doylin, has been appointed first deputy chairman of the Sennensky district executive committee. He has been tasked with bringing order to the animal husbandry sector. The district was recently criticized at a meeting of the regional executive committee for the state of affairs on the farms of Sennenshchina. Nikolay Sherstnev believes that the wage system should contribute to improving the situation. If a milkmaid is sure that her salary will significantly increase for supplying milk of the "extra" grade, she will strive for this. The human factor is the basis of success. And it is important for the manager to find an approach to people, to be open and honest, then it is easier to mobilize labor resources to perform the tasks set.

Contracts have been extended for three directors of agricultural enterprises in the Dubrovensky district – Viktor Minin, Alexey Okishev, and Valentin Balabosov. Their farms show positive dynamics in milk production, and milk yield per cow is growing. The results achieved allow us to look confidently into the future and make further plans to increase livestock density.

The branch "Novopolotsk Zhelezobeton" of OJSC "Krichevtsementnoshifer" has been headed by Yakov Starodubov, who previously managedNovopolotsk enterprise "Spetsstroy-181".   

– Today, the economy comes first, – emphasized the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev. – This means we should produce only what is in demand, what sells. Especially since you have export-oriented production. You know the Russian market well – expand your supplies. At the same time, it is important to reduce the cost of production.

When appointing a new director, Nikolai Sherstnev emphasized the need to preserve and create additional jobs. Every manager is responsible for stability in production and employment of people in the team.
