A school on the lake shore near Vitebsk for 42 rubles and 97 other state property objects are offered for sale at auction in September.

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's State Property Committee has scheduled 98 auctions for September to sell unused state property.

The most interesting property for investors may be the former school building in the village of Sosnovka, located just 5 kilometers from Vitebsk.

The former school is located right on the shore of Lake Gorodno.

The lake itself is very popular for recreation among Vitebsk residents, as it is easily accessible by public transport – you can get there from Vitebsk by suburban bus and by train to the railway station located here.

The unique world of the raised bog "Urochishe Gorodnyansky Mokh" is also located nearby.

The school is a three-story brick building with an area of almost 3000 sq.m., including classrooms, an assembly hall, a workshop, a sports hall, central cold water supply, heating and electricity supply, and an autonomous hot water supply system. There is a fountain, a playground, and a fence on the territory.

The new owner is provided with a land plot of more than 2 hectares. In the future, it is possible to locate a sports and recreation facility, consumer services for the population, or to use it for the creation of a dormitory or an apartment building.

The school was closed in 2022, which led to the decision to sell it.

During this time, it was put up for auction 8 times at the appraised value and with a reduction in the sale price, but there were no buyers.

Currently, a decision has been made to sell it at auction with an initial price equal to one basic unit (42 Belarusian rubles).

Among the sale conditions is the reconstruction of the facility or its demolition and construction of a new one within no more than three years.

In total, the committee has held 89 successful auctions in the 8 months of this year, which has not only allowed unused real estate to be involved in the region's development, but alsoto replenish the state budget by 2,833,071 rubles.
