"A Strong Tool for Business Integration". The Second Day of the Vitebsk Region's Exposition at the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia Has Begun

The second day of the exhibition-fair with the participation of Belarusian and Russian manufacturers, artisans, business and trade representatives at the XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia promises to be eventful. Yesterday, it was visited by representatives of business circles, regional leaders, and delegates.
As the participants themselves note, this platform allows for outlining ways to expand cooperation with existing partners and find new ones. An important component is the exchange of experience, developments, technologies, and practices.
– This platform is a strong tool for integrating business, regions, and authorities to establish business and economic ties, to see the regions and the products manufactured in them, and to showcase oneself. As yesterday and today's work of the exhibition show, our products are in high demand. Visitors pay special attention to our new direction – cosmetics for animals, – said Ilya Kurganov, Director of the foreign unitary enterprise "VIK – Animal Health".
As Gennady Azarov, General Director of OJSC "Vityaz", said, the enterprise supplies equipment to almost all Russian regions and works through the largest federal retail chains.
– Within the framework of this Forum, we have signed an agreement to expand cooperation with Vladivostok – with the largest home appliance retailer in the Russian Federation, – said Gennady Azarov, General Director of OJSC "Vityaz". – We regularly supply televisions to the Russian Federation – about 900 thousand per year. This year, we have increased the share of television supplies under our own trademark – the "Vityaz" brand. Being a mass producer of household appliances, a diversified enterprise, we are always interested in being integrated into cooperative ties – this is one of our main goals at this forum.
The industrial, tourism, and cultural potential of the northern region is represented by over 20 leading enterprises, as well as the "Vitebsk" free economic zone.
– The Russian Federation accounts for more than 90% of our enterprise's exports. Our activity and participation in the Forum are aimed at expanding the geography of contacts, maximizing the coverage of regions and industries that might be interested in our products. They are in demand by enterprises of the widest profile: railway, aviation, mechanical engineering, space industry, metallurgy. We are interested in absolutely any region of Russia, – emphasized Olga Tabakova, leading marketing specialist at "Gidropress" enterprise.
Cheeses, sausages, dairy products. The Pridvinye region brought its brands and new products to the capital. OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant" presented several of them at the exhibition-fair. As Yana Yusupova, head of the marketing sector, said, this includes the smoked meat line.
– Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant is exhibiting at the Forum of Regions for the first time. This is a good opportunity to present the entire range of products manufactured for the entire friendly Russian Federation. Each of the regions showed interest in our products. We presented new items, and offered future and current partners mutually beneficial cooperation. Today, we are closely cooperating with the Moscow and Leningrad regions, and contacts have been established with other regions, – noted Andrey Borisenko, General Director of Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant OJSC.
