The release of products to reduce the growth of overdue accounts receivable was proposed for implementation at the enterprises of the Vitebsk region

Accounts receivable in general across the region amount to Br2.5 million. By the beginning of the year, it had increased slightly and practically corresponds to the inflation rate, while overdue accounts receivable grew by only 1%. Even in such a problematic area as construction, overdue accounts receivable have decreased by 3 percentage points since the beginning of the year, and in wholesale and retail trade - by 13.

"This means that in a difficult economic situation, someone is still finding the right solutions. What I am leading up to is that the problem of debts is generated by large enterprises. Because someone released products there without thinking about who, how, and under what conditions. Our managers often do not have a grasp of the situation, there is no clear primary system for releasing products," - explained Nikolai Sherstnev.

The governor proposed a number of effective measures. For example, with the help of a programmer, enter all concluded contracts indicating payment deadlines into the program. If the recipient arrives for the order when the payment deadline has already passed, the computer automatically blocks the release of goods. Then the customer will naturally react. Also, it is not difficult to assign additional responsibilities to a small group of people from the entire legal or accounting department. Namely, to track the receipt of funds and, a week before the deadline, call the customer and remind them of their obligations. If the money still does not arrive, send a claim. In short, do not allow debt to accumulate in principle.

"The second question arises - who are we shipping to. There are those who register, take the goods and disappear. To prevent this, the customer must be checked initially. Assign an official, call him whatever you want - security service, or something else. But he must check this structure and put his visa - "yes" or "no". Then there will be no empty product releases. We need to create

an effective system of responsible persons. If enterprises themselves cannot show initiative - to develop, bring and implement by order," - Nikolai Sherstnev added.
