A workshop for prosecutors on interaction with the media was held

Employees of the prosecutor's offices of Lepel, Polotsk, Orsha, Vitebsk districts and the city of Vitebsk, responsible for the implementation of the principle of openness at the local level, took part in the discussion.

The main aspects of organizing work on openness in the supervisory authority, identified shortcomings and emerging problems were considered. At the same time, issues of covering the results of work on protecting the rights and legitimate interests of minors, and on combating corruption and corrupt manifestations were discussed separately.

Attention was paid to the quality of the information provided, the search for new information triggers relevant to the region's population, and cooperation with regional and republican press, and specialized publications.

As part of the event, prosecutors met with representatives of Yurspektr and state media of the Vitebsk region.

Following the results of the training forum, the participants developed the most optimal mechanism for interaction between the prosecutor's office and the media.
