The Vitebsk Regional Organizational Structure of the RGOO "Knowledge" is a non-profit organization based on membership of legal entities and individuals, registered by the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on July 17, 2008, certificate of state registration No. 02-0009.

The Chairman of the Board of the Vitebsk Regional Organizational Structure of the RGOO "Knowledge" is Nikolaeva Irina Vladimirovna, Director of the Vitebsk Branch of the "MITSO International University", Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor.

The purpose of the RGOO "Knowledge" is to disseminate scientific knowledge, enhance its impact on the development of innovative thinking and social activity of citizens, promote a healthy lifestyle, and ensure stability and civil accord in the Republic of Belarus.

The state-significant tasks of the RGOO "Knowledge" include:

· assisting the state in ensuring the implementation of citizens' constitutional right to receive complete and reliable information about the activities of state bodies, other organizations, about political, economic, cultural and international life, as well as explaining the state policy of the Republic of Belarus to the population and promoting active participation of citizens in its implementation;

· participation in the ideological work of republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations;

· interaction with local executive and administrative bodies, and other state organizations in conducting systematic work to improve the qualifications of officials organizing ideological work in the teams of employees of state and other organizations;

· development of a public information system aimed at improving a person's civic-patriotic, political, legal, economic, managerial, spiritual-moral, and physical culture;

· organization of lecture activities to promote the national strategy for sustainable development of the Republic of Belarus, innovative processes in the economic, social, and cultural spheres, the latest achievements in various fields of science and technology, involving highly qualified personnel from among scientists, teachers, civil servants, ideological workers, specialists in various sectors of the national economy, creative intelligentsia, and other citizens of the Republic of Belarus with the necessary experience;

· improving the level of awareness of lecture personnel of the Republic of Belarus by conducting seminars, publishing lecture texts on issues of socio-economic, political, cultural, and other activities of republican state administration bodies and local executive and administrative bodies, as well as methodological support for new forms of lecture work.
