Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers

Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers (VOSN) is a regional non-profit association of employers and industrialists, established in November 1999. The founders of VOSN were 144 enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region. Currently, VOSN includes over 320 members. The business partners of the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers are hundreds of enterprises from various sectors of the republic's economy and other countries.

Today, it is the largest union of employers and industrialists in the region. The industrial output of enterprises that are members of VOSN accounts for about 90% of the total production volume of enterprises in the region.

Since 1999, a number of meetings of the council of the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers have been held, at which many issues concerning the activities of enterprises and organizations - members of VOSN have been considered. Proposals from leaders on improving the activities of executive authorities and current legislation, expressed at these meetings, are constantly sent to the relevant bodies for action.

In order to implement comprehensive measures to ensure the social, legal, labor, and economic guarantees of employees of enterprises, organizations, and the population as a whole, the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers annually concludes a trilateral agreement with the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the regional trade union association.
