Tulips and gifts: the "Belaya Rus" party organized a holiday for women at the Vitebsk Regional Maternity Hospital
Vyacheslav Durnov, a member of the supreme political council of the "Belaya Rus" party and Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, and Valentina Bogatyreva, Chairperson of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" and Rector of VSU named after P. Masherov, took part in this kind initiative.
– On this wonderful holiday, we simply must congratulate all women, and especially those who are fulfilling the most important female mission, – said Vyacheslav Durnov. – After all, the most valuable thing for Belarus, for it to flourish and develop, is its people, its new citizens. Therefore, the state has created unprecedented conditions for supporting motherhood and childhood, for supporting the family, which do not exist in other countries.
Students of VSU named after P. Masherov prepared a wonderful original concert for the women and staff of the maternity hospital. A festive, one might say, spring atmosphere reigned in the hall. Women's faces were illuminated with smiles from the gifted flowers.
– Today, the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", as is tradition, congratulates those in the regional maternity hospital who have already given the most important gift to themselves, their loved ones, their family, their country, our native Vitebsk region, – said Valentina Bogatyreva. – I am sure that we managed to give each other a good mood. In the Year of the Belarusian Woman, I want to emphasize that every year can be called that, because the role of women, as history has proven many times, is great. It is a special status, a special purpose to continue the lineage, to be a support for real and strong men.
Patients of the maternity hospital shared their emotions. Some of them are still here for preservation. For example, Ksenia Spiridonova, a resident of Liozno, is expecting a royal twins, a girl and a boy. The woman admitted that she was incredibly surprised and delighted to become a mother of two children at once. The family has already chosen names for the babies, and now, while Ksenia is under the care of qualified maternity hospital staff, the whole family is waiting for a miracle.
Elena Klyukina from Vitebsk has already given herself and her family a gift for March 8 – she gave birth to her third daughter. The birth was smooth and quick: as soon as her husband drove away from the maternity hospital, Elena informed him about the baby's arrival. By the way, all the girls in the family are "spring" babies, born in March, April, and May. At home, 11-year-old Sonya and 5-year-old Agata are waiting for their youngest sister Stefania. Now the family has acquired the status of a large family.
Yulia Makarenko, a resident of Vitebsk, hopes to celebrate Women's Day with her family. On March 4, she gave birth to her fifth child, a girl. The decision to have a large family was conscious. The family is raising three sons and now two daughters. Yulia admitted that she boldly took this step because the family feels confident about the future, makes long-term plans for the development and education of children, including with the support of the state, which she truly feels.
– I congratulate all women on our spring holiday, – said the happy mother. – I wish you all the best: for those who have not yet given birth – easy labor, for those who have given birth – a speedy discharge, return home, and healthy babies.
