Land Management Department: over 14,000 illegally occupied land plots were identified during the inventory in the Vitebsk region

The Land Management Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee draws attention to the fact that citizens have the right to apply to the local executive committee for the provision of a self-occupied land plot, in the manner prescribed by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 18, 2022 No. 195-Z, if its occupation was committed before September 1, 2022, only until September 1, 2025.

In 2023, 249 land plots were provided to citizens for legalization within the region, and 657 were voluntarily vacated.

One of the conditions for providing a self-occupied land plot to a citizen is the payment of a fee determined by the cadastral value.

Local executive committees may provide installment payments for legalization for a period of up to 2 years.
