In honor of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of Belarus, a celebration of prosecutors was held at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Hall
A ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of Belarus was held at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Society.
Among the invited guests were Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, heads of related departments, law enforcement agencies, higher educational institutions, veterans of the prosecutor's office, and representatives of the mass media.
“Since its foundation, the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Belarus, throughout its century-long history, has continuously confirmed its special purpose in ensuring the supremacy of the Law, strengthening legality and law and order. Time presents the prosecutor's office with new serious tasks. Here, more than ever, the firm stance of our employees is important. We are required to have professionalism, strict discipline, continuous professional development, and the search for new approaches to achieve the set goals,” – noted the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region Igor Ukrainets in his welcome speech.
At the event, Igor Ukrainets expressed his gratitude for the conscientious performance of their official duties to all employees of the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk Region, including those employees who bear the equally important burden of documentary and logistical support for the activities of the supervisory body.
On the eve of an event significant for every employee of the supervisory body, prosecutorial staff of the Vitebsk region were awarded commendations and honors for the performance of their official duties and their personal contribution to strengthening legality and law and order.
On this day, many kind words were also spoken in honor of the veterans of the prosecutor's office for their selfless and diligent work.
