The surgical department has been reopened at the Novopolotsk Central City Hospital after renovation
The significant event was attended by Mikhail Vishnevetsky, Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, Igor Burmistrov, Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, as well as the administration and staff of the NCGH.
The renovation of the department, designed for 55 beds, was the result of joint efforts by the Main Department for Healthcare of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee.
Mikhail Vishnevetsky noted that the NCGH provides assistance not only to the residents of Novopolotsk but also to the residents of nearby districts. He added that the bright, modern wards and treatment rooms will make patients' stay in the department more comfortable, and will also enable staff to work with even greater dedication in such conditions.
– In the Vitebsk region, systematic repairs and modernization of healthcare facilities are being carried out, both in terms of improving the conditions for patients and staff, and in terms of modernizing medical equipment, – emphasized Mikhail Leontievich.
Irina Shemenkova, Chief Physician of the Novopolotsk Central City Hospital, reported that renovation work in the cardiology and traumatology departments is nearing completion. Construction and installation work is ongoing for the modernization of the therapeutic building, including the replacement of elevator equipment and the preparation of premises for the installation of an MRI scanner.
