During the sowing campaign, the regional prosecutor's office identified violations of the law

Monitoring of the situation in this important area has shown that the clear implementation of property protection legislation is not ensured everywhere on the ground, instances of basic mismanagement and theft, and inefficient use of material and financial resources are allowed.

In OJSC "Gvardeysky" of Miorsky district, despite the shortage of mineral fertilizers (52.7%), they were stored in a dilapidated room with openings in the roof and walls, lacking locking devices. Similar violations were identified in Ushachsky, Polotsky, Gorodoksky, Gluboksky, Rossony and other districts.

Criminal cases have been initiated based on 9 materials from the ROKh (under Parts 1, 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus - 8 cases, Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus - 1 case).

Clear violations of crop cultivation technology and the use of chemicals were allowed in the farms of Miory, Vitebsk, Gorodok districts and others.

The safety of equipment used in spring field work was not ensured in all agricultural organizations. Moreover, mismanagement and negligent attitude towards the performance of labor duties by farm workers often contribute to offenses in the agricultural sector.

The tractor MTZ left in the field by tractor driver A.P. Apanasenok of OJSC "Beshenkovichi Agroservice" of Beshenkovichi district due to its breakdown led to the theft of a battery, headlights, and diesel fuel by an unidentified person. Based on this fact, the Beshenkovichi District Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, and an investigation is underway. The district prosecutor's office initiated the привлечение of the tractor driver and the chief engineer of the farm to material liability.

There were cases of equipment being released to the fields without undergoing state technical inspection, necessary documents, first-aid kits, and fire extinguishers in Braslav, Gorodok, Postavy, Dubrovno, Miory, Chashniki, Glubokoye, Senno, Rosson, Shumilino districts.

During the sowing campaign, 65 cases were recorded of farm workers being at their workplaces while intoxicated.

In May of the current year, a fitter of the state enterprise "Drozd-Agro" was at his workplace at the machine yard in the village of Drozd, Beshenkovichi district, during working hours while intoxicated. In the sowing campaign of 2015, he was brought to administrative responsibility for driving a K-700 tractor, which was not registered in the prescribed manner, causing a road traffic accident, after which he left the scene of the accident and consumed alcoholic beverages before undergoing examination in the prescribed manner.

There are instances of machine operators driving agricultural machinery while intoxicated in the farms of Chashniksky, Shumilinsky,Beshankovichy, Liozno districts).

During the sowing campaign, based on the results of inspections conducted by the prosecutor's offices, 34 submissions were made, 22 orders were issued, at the request of prosecutors, 18 farm workers were brought to disciplinary responsibility, and 13 officials were brought to administrative responsibility.
