A training and methodological seminar on the topic "Current issues of law enforcement practice at the pre-trial stage of criminal proceedings" was held in Polotsk.

The seminar was attended by employees of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee of the Republic, prosecutors of cities and districts, investigators and heads of investigative units of the region, employees of internal affairs bodies, as well as financial investigation bodies.

During the training event, problematic issues arising in the resolution of applications and reports of illegal entrepreneurial activity and false entrepreneurship were highlighted, and shortcomings in the investigation of criminal cases of crimes against the person, as well as criminal cases of the unknown disappearance of persons, were discussed.
