On the eve of Victory Day, prosecutors of the Vitebsk region visited military burial sites and honored the memory of heroes and victims of the war

On the eve of Victory Day, prosecutors from cities and districts of the Vitebsk region visited military burial sites, mass graves, and burial sites of fascism victims. They carried out a series of events to improve memorial complexes, laid flowers, and lit lamps.

For example, the staff of the Dokshitsy District Prosecutor's Office planted young thuja saplings at the burial site of the residents of the village of Milkun, Dokshitsy District, who were burned alive by the fascists on November 22, 1942.

The staff of the prosecutor's offices of Vitebsk city, Gorodok, Beshenkovichi, Sharkovshchina, Shumilino, and other regions laid flowers at the foot of monuments to the soldiers of the war and the victims of the Nazi invaders.

Prosecutors also visited the burial sites of veterans of the prosecutor's office who participated in the war.

On the eve of the holiday, prosecutors, together with representatives of local authorities, will visit war veterans at their homes and also participate in reconstructions of military actions.
