The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office discussed issues of ensuring the safety of weapons and ammunition, explosives, armaments, and military equipment in military units of the region

An operational meeting on ensuring the safety of weapons and ammunition, explosives, armaments and military equipment in military units stationed in the Vitebsk region was held by the First Deputy Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, Senior Justice Counselor Korzhov I.N.

Commanders and officials of military units 2034, 71327, 5524, 94017, 97020, as well as the head of the Vitebsk garrison, were invited to the discussion.

During the meeting, the results of the work of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office on supervising the implementation of legislation in this area were reviewed, and examples of the most serious violations identified by prosecutors during inspections were presented.

Following the discussion, commanders of military units and the head of the Vitebsk garrison were required to strictly ensure compliance with the requirements of the legislation on the safety of weapons and ammunition, explosives, armaments and military equipment.

The implementation of the decision has been taken under special control.
