A training seminar for law enforcement officers was held at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office with the participation of representatives from the Prosecutor General's Office

The Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk region organized and held an educational and methodological seminar on issues of supervision of inquiry and enforcement of legislation in the conduct of operational-search activities.


The training forum was attended by employees of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Brel and Anatoly Zakruzhny, employees of specialized departments of the Vitebsk region Prosecutor's Office, prosecutors of cities and districts, the transport prosecutor's office, and officials of territorial internal affairs bodies.

Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office drew the attention of the seminar participants to innovations in criminal legislation and novelties in legislation on operational-search activities.

The main violations of legislation in the conduct of operational-search activities were also discussed separately, and relevant examples from prosecutorial practice were provided.

In their speeches, employees of the regional prosecutor's office detailed the procedure for supervising inquiry and the specifics of prosecutorial supervision over the resolution of applications and reports of crimes.

Issues of maintaining secret record-keeping in the supervisory authority were also not overlooked.

Following the seminar, a discussion platform was organized.

The organizers and participants of the forum are convinced that such training events will allow law enforcement officers to take effective measures to further improve work on the ground.
