A seminar for prosecutors was held at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office

A training session on the issues of supervising the legality of court decisions in civil cases was held at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The seminar was attended by prosecutors from city and district prosecutor's offices, who carry out specialized supervision in their respective areas.

“A prosecutor must constantly learn and improve their skills. I am convinced that participation in seminars will contribute to raising the professional level of everyone present,” emphasized Georgy Korenko, Deputy Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, opening the seminar.

During the training forum, participants analyzed judicial and prosecutorial practice in cases initiated by prosecutor's applications in the interests of the state and legal entities of state ownership.

Nuances of courts' consideration of civil cases on claims for eviction from commercial residential premises, and cases on reinstatement at work were considered separately.

Features of considering civil cases in the appellate instance were discussed.

From theory to practice. After lectures and discussions, practical exercises were conducted on solving problems in civil cases of various categories. Typical errors and shortcomings made by prosecutors in their practical activities were detailed, and certain ways to improve this area of supervision were proposed.
