В СШ №34 Витебска открыли класс правовой направленности «Юный прокурор»
Today, a solemn ceremony was held at Secondary School No. 34 in Vitebsk to open the second tenth-grade class with a legal focus, "Young Prosecutor." The event was attended by the Prosecutor General of Belarus, Andrei Shved, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, and other distinguished guests.

"This is a significant event not only for the prosecution authorities but for Belarus as a whole. Starting from this academic year, 14 "Young Prosecutor" legal classes are already operating in our country," noted Andrei Shved. "It is precisely this form of working with youth that allows us to cultivate true patriots from a young age, to hone the core qualities necessary for a public servant, and to teach them to love their Motherland."

The head of the supervisory agency emphasized that by studying in this class, schoolchildren will be able to gain a closer understanding of the history of the prosecution authorities, the main areas of their activities, and their powers in various spheres.

The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, focused on the importance of career guidance work in schools.

"The prosecution service begins to select young individuals who have a propensity for meticulous work with laws and legal documents. We are raising patriots, honest and decent people who are irreconcilable with the manifestations of evil."

In the presence of distinguished guests and educators, the students of the "Young Prosecutor" class solemnly pledged to become exemplars of legality and law and order, to demonstrate firmness and perseverance in their studies, and to sacredly honor and preserve the memory of the heroic and tragic pages of our history. Each student received a Code of Honor for a Prosecutor and commemorative gifts from the head of the supervisory agency.

The new class consists of 26 students dressed in uniforms similar to those of a prosecutor.

Daria Tikhonova had been considering enrolling in this class for a year.

- I want to enroll in the law faculty, - the girl told "VV". - My aunt graduated from law school. She worked in the Investigative Committee and told a lot of interesting things about her profession. That's why I was very happy when the first "Young Prosecutor" class opened in our school a year ago. The guys who study there shared their impressions with me and advised me to also enroll in the specialized class.

The first tenth-grade "Young Prosecutor" class at Secondary School No. 34 was opened in September 2024. Enrollment of students in the legal class is carried out based on the results of education at the II stage of general secondary education with marks of at least 7 points in the specialized subjects "Social Studies" and "English Language", as well as an average score of the certificate of general basic education of at least 7.

As part of the educational process, it is planned for students to visit prosecutor's offices, field court sessions on criminal and civil cases, solemn ceremonies of taking the Oath, new burial sites of civilians during the Great Patriotic War, and other prosecutor's office events.
