23.07.2026
The meeting is attended by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, the President's authorized representative in the Vitebsk region, Igor Sergeenko, the President's Assistant – Inspector for the Vitebsk region, Vladimir Yurgevich, and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Gora.
The meeting began with a discussion of the issue "On the preservation of cattle and poultry in agricultural organizations of the region for the first half of 2026".
– The most important thing is to stop the mortality, – emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Rogozhnik. – A truly great job has been done, and this is a great victory for the Vitebsk region.
The issue "On measures taken by local executive committees to eliminate cases of unauthorized occupation of land plots" was also considered.
This problem remains relevant and is under the constant control of local authorities. In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in 2022-2023, a comprehensive land inventory was carried out in the republic to identify and eliminate cases of unauthorized occupation of land plots, non-compliance with their boundaries and (or) intended use by subsequent allocation of land plots or release in case of impossibility of legalization due to violations of legislative requirements.
In the region, over 20 thousand cases of non-compliance of land plot boundaries have been identified. District and executive committees have confirmed over 14 thousand cases of unauthorized land occupation. The largest number of decisions to legalize plots based on citizens' applications were made in Polotsk, Vitebsk, Lepel, Ushachi districts, and Vitebsk city, while the smallest number were made in Shumilino, Dubrovno, and Glubokoye districts. Over 4 thousand unauthorized plots have been vacated.
Work in this direction continues, including through the improvement of legislation. Local executive and administrative bodies have been tasked with intensifying efforts to eliminate cases of unauthorized land plot occupation and to complete this work by January 1, 2028.
Igor Sergeenko will continue his working trip to the Vitebsk region with visits to the region's enterprises.
