Vitebsk heard "Unforgettable…"! Petr Elfimov revived the legacy of "Pesniary" at the "Slavianski Bazaar"
Accompanied by the Iosif Zhynovich National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, the hall was immersed in a journey through time. It was not just a concert, but a declaration of love for the native land and its culture!
"Moy rodny kut," "Spadchyna," "Molodost moya, Belorussiya," "Belovezhskaya pushcha," "Zhuravli na Polesye letyat," "Kasiu Yas kaniushynu," "Chyrvonaya ruzha," "Alesya," "Alexandrina"... Each composition is a living story in the soulful performance of Pyotr Yelfimov, who himself was once a part of "Pesniary."
Fun fact. A bright talent, powerful vocals, and an unquenchable thirst for new achievements – this is all about Pyotr Yelfimov. But before shining on the musical Olympus, the singer conquered the hearts of viewers with performances and humor on the KVN stage! As part of the teams PTU-124, BSU, and "K команда РУДН," he twice became the champion of the Higher League, a recipient of "Golosyashchiy KiViN" awards, and a winner of other prestigious competitions.
The artist charmed the audience with the "whispering language of cornflowers," melodies familiar from childhood, a caring attitude towards our traditions, and the creativity of the vocal-instrumental ensemble, which continues to inspire generations. In response, the audience applauded and, in an atmosphere of nostalgia, sang along to the hits. The performer managed to open a box of the most cherished memories.
The evening became a symbol of preserving cultural identity and continuing the work of VIA "Pesniary," the 56th anniversary of whose founding is celebrated this year.
— We have a priceless heritage of national culture created by Vladimir Mulyavin, Igor Luchenok, and the ensemble "Pesniary". This music is alive, we perform it, we love it, it sounds in our hearts and will remain for our descendants. Despite all the musical trends that have passed through the centuries, these songs will be eternal, — noted Pyotr Yelfimov.
The Minsk women in colorful wreaths, two Annas and Elena, came to "Slavyansky Bazaar" for the first time and are already overwhelmed with emotions — exclusively positive ones.
— For me, Vladimir Mulyavin is my youth. I went to his concerts back in the seventies. What Pyotr Petrovich is doing with the Zhinovich orchestra — they are so great, they convey the spirit of that time! If it were just a singer singing, there wouldn't be such polyphony as with the orchestra and backing vocals. It's a combination of music, performance — everything comes from the soul, — shared one of the women.
