Mothers whose babies were born during the Week of Parental Love were honored at Vitebsk City Maternity Hospital No. 2
As part of the "Belaya Rus" – with love for children" campaign, mothers who gave birth to babies during the Parental Love Week were honored at the Vitebsk City Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2.
The happy families were congratulated by the head of the administration of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk, Yevgeny Semyonchykov, and the chairman of the Pervomaisky district organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus", Alexander Kaplevsky.
– We want to wish the children born on these significant dates to carry tenderness and love throughout their lives, so that they understand the importance of family values and protect them, – said Yevgeny Semyonchykov, addressing the parents.
Young mothers were presented with gifts, including a book about Vitebsk and the symbol of the Pervomaisky district, the Stork.
The event concluded with the planting of trees. In the courtyard of the maternity hospital, there is an Alley of Fathers, which has been replenished with new saplings for four consecutive years, which is how long this tradition has existed. The men who became fathers during the Parental Love Week planted thuya trees.
