During a training forum of relevant departments with the participation of the prosecutor's office, issues of preventing emergency incidents in the region and preventing fatalities in them were discussed.

Representatives of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took part in training events of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations". First deputy heads of emergency response departments and employees of the state fire supervision attended the forum.

As part of the training, prosecutors and firefighters discussed issues of ongoing instructional and explanatory work with residents of private households during the preparation for the heating season, and its effectiveness.

Existing shortcomings in preventive activities, including with categorized citizens, and the conduct of administrative proceedings against individuals and legal entities were considered separately.

At the same time, representatives of the prosecutor's office made a number of proposals for improving work on the prevention and warning of emergencies, including those resulting in fatalities in the region.

Work in this direction will be continued.
