Vitebsk region fulfilled all performance efficiency targets for January-February 2024, set by the Government for the 1st quarter.

By gross regional product, a growth of 5 percent was ensured for January-February 2023;

by investments in fixed capital – 22.2%;

by the growth of the average monthly wage – 18.7%;

by the aggregate budget revenues – 26.8%.

With the growth of production volumes, all sectors of the economy worked – industry, agriculture, construction, transport, trade, and public catering.

Exports of goods increased 1.3 times, services – 1.2 times.
