The Vitebsk prosecutor's office held a mini-football tournament among teenagers registered with the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate.

The prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region pay constant attention to the behavior and leisure of minors and youth in the northern region. The main task is to minimize the causes and conditions that contribute to the commission of crimes and other offenses by minors.

 

In this regard, at the end of February, the city prosecutor's office organized and held a mini-football tournament for teenagers registered with the juvenile inspection departments of the internal affairs bodies of the city's district administrations, timed to coincide with the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

 

Teams from all districts of the city participated in the tournament, with a total of 30 teenagers.

 

The team from the Oktyabrsky district won. The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded cups, medals, and certificates.

Within the framework of the tournament, a friendly match was played between the tournament winner and the city prosecutor's office team.

 

After the ceremonial closing of the tournament, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the city Zykov A.M. noted that such events should be held annually with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing juvenile delinquency. He also noted the high level of organization and preparation of the tournament.
