Vitebskoblimushchestvo: workshops of the Vitebsk Polytechnic Lyceum were sold at auction with a price increase of 1.4 thousand times
The bidding for this property became the largest in the committee this year in terms of the number of registered participants. 13 applicants showed interest in the building in the industrial zone of Vitebsk, which was put up for sale for the fifth time, and the winner was determined at the 63rd step. The new owner of the real estate is a private company from the regional center. According to its representative, the investor plans to create a business center on the basis of the workshops, expanding the area and increasing the number of floors of the building. Some premises are planned to be reconstructed and modernized into premium-class warehouse facilities, and a developed service infrastructure will also be available to potential clients of the future business center.
The workshops have not been used for educational and production activities since the late 1990s. The lot includes a single-story brick building built in 1988 with an area of almost 347 sq.m, as well as the right to a 25-year lease of a land plot of about 0.1 hectares. The property was put up for auction with a starting price of one basic unit (1 BU - Br27).
The most expensive acquisition at the auction was the workshops with garages, a warehouse, and overhead structures with a total area of over 1.8 thousand sq.m of the liquidated OJSC "KIM" in the regional center. The buildings were put up for auction by the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee for the first time and immediately attracted a buyer who acquired the lot for almost Br55,300. The new owner is a private company for the repair of motor vehicles from Vitebsk. The investor intends to use the property for business development.
A brick water tower with an artesian well in the village of Yurtsevo, Orsha district, was sold for Br13 thousand. Two participants competed for the unusual lot, which was put up for auction with a starting price of 1 base value, and they increased the price 480 times during the bidding. The winner on the 49th step of the auctioneer was a transport company from the Orsha district, which plans to create a roadside service facility on the basis of the structure.
According to "Vitebskoblimushchestvo", since the beginning of the year, 77 buildings and structures have been sold at the committee's auctions for a total amount of over Br1.8 million, of which about 50% of the objects were sold for 1 base value.
