Vitebsk Regional Property Management: The beginning of this year has been the most productive in the last 10 years for the sale of unused state property

At an auction organized by the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, 4 unused state-owned properties were sold.

The gas station in the Senno district attracted the greatest interest from buyers. The gas station was put up for auction for the 7th time. Previously, in June 2020, it was sold for 20,300 rubles to a private transport organization from Senno at an auction with a starting price of 1 basic unit. At that time, there were 2 buyers. However, due to the insufficient land area, the buyer refused the property.

Subsequently, the area of the provided land plot was increased from 4 to 26 ares, and on January 31, a repeat auction was held, which was attended by 5 buyers.

As a result, at the 58th step of the auction, the gas station was sold for 43,808 rubles to a private enterprise from Senno.

In total, 11 properties have already been sold in January 2022 for more than 500 thousand rubles, of which 9 were sold at auctions with a starting price of 1 basic unit. As a rule, property sales are not very active at the beginning of the year; last year, only 2 properties were sold in January for 14 thousand rubles, with an average of 3-5 properties sold. It can be noted that the beginning of this year has been the most productive January in 10 years.

In total, more than 340 unused republican and communal properties are planned for sale at auctions organized by the committee this year, of which more than 150 will be put up for sale for the first time.

In Vitebsk, more than 20 buildings and structures of the former OAO "KIM" will be put up for auction, which have been formed into 5 lots, an unfinished, mothballed capital construction at Bogdan Khmelnitsky St., an isolated premises with a garage in the area of the Smolensk market, and a complex of buildings of the former winery on Pokrovskaya St.

In Novopolotsk, an administrative building at Blokhin St., 3 kindergartens, and wholesale base buildings on Rizhsky Lane are offered.

As before, a significant part of the total number of properties offered for sale consists of social sphere facilities in rural areas – more than 100 school and kindergarten buildings and 30

of rural houses of culture and libraries. Various administrative and industrial buildings, warehouses, garages, shops, and others are also offered.

Auctions for 60 unused state-owned facilities have been scheduled by the committee for February, and on March 3, share packages of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" and OJSC "Keramika" will be put up for auction with a 20 percent reduction in the starting price. The committee invites legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, and citizens to participate in the auctions.
