Vitebskoblimushchestvo will additionally offer shares of four Open Joint Stock Companies for exchange for Property Certificates from March 1
The Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, starting from March 1, will additionally organize for citizens the exchange of shares of four Open Joint-Stock Companies (OJSCs), established in the process of privatization of communal property of the Vitebsk region, for "Property" privatization checks.
After a short break, citizens will again have the opportunity to exchange checks for shares of OJSC "Zapadno-Dvinysky Mezhrayagrotekhservis" (the Vitebsk region's share in the company's authorized capital is 99.75%) and "Stroitelny Trest №9, Vitebsk" (99.86%). In addition, OJSC "Vitebskoblavtotrans" (56.52%) and "Vitebsktorgstroy" (38.81%), whose shares are offered for the first time, have been added to the additional list.
Currently, the list of OJSCs whose shares are exchanged for checks includes 8 joint-stock companies with the participation of the Vitebsk region. These are "Vitebsky Motoremontny Zavod" (99.63%), "Tiraspolskaya PMK" (74.74%), "Vitebskoye Mezhrayonnoe Remontnoye Predpriyatiye" (99.78%), "Vitebskoblagropromtrans" (92.98%), "Vitebsky Khoztorg" (96.93%), "Avtotransportnoye Predpriyatiye №4, Vitebsk" (86.68%), "Tiraspolsky Agrotekhservis" (99.32%), "Mekhanizirovannaya Kolonna №43, Vitebsk" (91.03%).
Shareholders of "Property" checks are also offered shares of four enterprises with the participation of the Republic of Belarus, located in the region, for exchange: "Dolomit", "Invet" (Verkhnedvinsk district), "SRSU №3, Novopolotsk", "Polotsk-Steklotkany".
In accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 546, the circulation period of personal privatization checks has been extended until December 31, 2025. In total, shares of more than 150 enterprises in the country participate in the exchange of "Property" checks. The list of joint-stock companies can be found in any branch of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank", including remotely (lists are posted on the bank's website). The exchange of personal privatization checks "Property" for shares of enterprises from this list can be carried out in the branches of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank".
According to the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, about 60 million "Property" checks have been issued to citizens for exchange in the Vitebsk region, of which approximately 40% have not yet been used.
