Together with the Lawyers' Union

In December 2018, the staff of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office decided to establish a primary organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers" within the prosecutor's office.

This year, together with the Union of Lawyers, a number of events have been held aimed at promoting corporate cohesion, developing legal education and science, and enhancing the prestige of legal professions.

In April, a training and methodological seminar on state prosecution issues was held at the Faculty of Law of Polotsk State University for students, teachers, and prosecutors with less than 3 years of experience.

On December 4, a round table discussion "Law and Law Enforcement: Ways of Improvement" was held at Vitebsk State University in conjunction with the Faculty of Law, other law enforcement agencies, the court, and the bar. Practicing lawyers, teachers, and students participated in the discussion of current issues of law enforcement and exchanged work experience.

Participation was taken in the annual photo contest "Photo Lawyer". According to the results of the public vote in the "Funny Kid" nomination, the senior assistant prosecutor of the city of Vitebsk, A.P. Dedyuro, won with the photograph "When I found the answer to the question".

A delegation from the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office participated in the official celebration of Lawyer's Day on November 29 at the Minsk State Palace of Culture, where the awarding ceremony for the highest legal award "Themis" took place. In the "Prosecutor's Office" nomination, the head of the inquiry supervision department of the Grodno Regional Prosecutor's Office, I.V. Streltsova, was awarded.

For high professionalism and exemplary performance of official duties, the prosecutor of Novopolotsk city, A.T. Avsyuk, was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
