Issues of resocialization of women in society, who are or have undergone medical and social rehabilitation in the therapeutic and preventive treatment facility, were considered at a meeting in the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office

Under the leadership of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, Vladimir Guk, a meeting was held on the issues of resocialization of women in society who are undergoing or have undergone medical and social readaptation in LTPs.

The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, Zhelanova G.P., specialists of the organization Merzlyak M.A., Mazurova S.V., Deputy Head of the Department for Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region, Kuchinskaya E.V., and employees of the department for supervision of the legality of criminal punishment execution of the regional prosecutor's office.

The participants of the meeting discussed current issues of international cooperation within the framework of the Red Cross Society, and attention was paid to interaction with the Department for Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region in this area. The issue of conducting joint work on the implementation of a training project for women and their subsequent support after leaving the medical and labor dispensary was also considered.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further close cooperation between the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region and related departments, and other interested organizations in the field of resocialization of women in society.
